Ballroom Dance Mastery System Dance Lessons DVD Set #Review #BallroomDancing

I love to watch Dancing With the Stars.  It strikes me as quite the feat for a normal person with no real training to pull off moves like you see on the show.  How awesome would it be to be able to dance even half that well?  Especially Swing Dance.  A man and his daughter in my grandmother's church could swing and they put on a show for us once that was fabulous.  It was so fun to watch!  I will never be that good.
But I can try!  And now I have the lessons to get started with the Ballroom Dance Mastery System by Dance Crazy.  It's a set of 7 DVDs that take you through the steps to the Waltz, Swing, Rumba, and Foxtrot.  The first three each have 2 volumes for beginner and the last has just one.

The instructors are lively and fun to watch.  They show you what to do and what not to do.  They explain how to best move your body so that the movements look just right.

After making your way through the slower and less interesting basic movements, you get to try more advanced movements.  They show you the rhythm and footwork first and it can be a bit on the tedious side, but it's pretty important stuff that you need to get a good feel for.

What's kind of cool is that it will show both leader and follower steps, so you know exactly what you are supposed to do.  When it is showing the dance with music, it will show a picture-in-picture view so that you can see a shot of the feet from a different angle and also a view of the whole body.  That's important because sometimes a different angle is necessary.  They also do show different angles when instructing.
I definitely recommend this for anyone needing instruction or who wants to dance and is maybe a little too shy for dance lessons.  Have you ever taken dance lessons?  To learn more, check out Dance Crazy on Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon, as well as their website DanceCrazy.com.
