Ooofos Review and Giveaway

It's Summertime!  That time of year when you can actually enjoy the outside (for the most part) and get out and be active.  I love the heat.  I love the freedom from coats and hats.  I love the birds and the flowers.  I love the water and the fishing.  What's not to love about Summer?
One of the sure signs of summer are flip flops.  I have owned my share of flip flops.  Every year I buy at least 3 pair.  But every year I am also disappointed in at least 2 of them.  Either the foam gets very thin after a few weeks and the plastic starts poking into my feet or I step on the playground only to be impaled by wood chips.  Sometimes they would break shortly after getting them and were not worth the money to begin with.
But recently I came across OOfos sandals and I must say, I have yet to be disappointed.  They come in slip-on style (OOahh Slide) and thong flop style (OOriginal Thong).  I chose to try the OOriginal Thongs.  The thing that first stuck out to me about them is the material.  They are a very thick rubber/foam type material called OOfoam that do not flatten like the regular flip flops do and they do not allow pokies to come through.  In fact, I noticed a thumb tack in the bottom of my Oofos and didn't even notice it was there til I saw it.

The material is also VERY comfortable to walk on, almost like you have insoles built in.  It's one of the most comfortable pair I have ever owned.  The only pair I find comparable in comfort was a pair I loved so much that they made it into my maternity shoot!  I love these just as much.
The cool thing about these is that they are machine washable.  I have never been afraid to shove shoes in the washer and dryer, but they do make a horrible thud.  However, the OOfos are very lightweight and do not cause the racket that sneakers make and do not risk damage to the sandal with all that tumbling and turning.
I seriously LOVE my OOfos.  And now you have a chance to win a pair of your own by entering my Rafflecopter below.  Good luck!

I have gotten the thong sandals before and as much as I love them they bother the vein on the top of my foot so I would go with the other style and try them out!
